At each moment, only one of the three pairs of windings has a current passing through it, generating a magnetic field, and then the power supply to the pair of windings is stopped, and the power supply to the adjacent other pair of windings is supplied, so that the magnetic field axis in the stator rotates 120 degrees in space, and the rotor rotates 120 degrees following the stator magnetic field under the action of magnetic force. When voltages are sequentially applied to A, A, C, B, C, B, A, C, A, C, B−, a rotating magnetic field is formed in the stator, and thus the motor is continuously rotated.
