The brushless DC motor is composed of a motor body and a driver, which is a typical mechatronic product.
The stator windings of the motor are mostly made of three-phase symmetrical star connection, which is very similar to the three-phase asynchronous motor. The rotor of the motor is glued with a magnetized permanent magnet. In order to detect the polarity of the motor rotor, a position sensor is installed in the motor. The driver is composed of power electronic devices and integrated circuits. Its functions are: receiving the start, stop, and brake signals of the motor to control the start, stop and brake of the motor; receiving position sensor signals and forward and reverse signals to control The on and off of each power tube of the inverter bridge generates continuous torque; accepts speed commands and speed feedback signals to control and adjust the speed; provides protection and display, etc.
Since the brushless DC motor is self-controlled operation, it will not add another starting winding to the rotor like a synchronous motor that starts under heavy load under variable frequency speed regulation, nor will it produce oscillation and out-of-step when the load changes abruptly.
According to the different bearings, it can be divided into four types: 1. Single ball bearing brushless fan, 2. Laifu bearing brushless fan, 3. Hydraulic bearing brushless fan, 4. Nano bearing brushless fan. The specifications and sizes of DC brushless fans are generally 6cm, 7cm, 8cm and 9cm. A few radiators begin to use 12cm super-large diameter fans. The sizes and regulations of fans are usually marked with four digits.
Simply speaking, DC brushless fan saves electricity, has high power density, low operating noise, and is brushless for maintenance!
