Last period we talked aboutDC brushless fanAccording to different bearings, it can be divided into four types. In this issue, we will talk about which four types in detail?
The core of fan technology is bearing technology. Bearings are also the most expensive part of the fan. There are many types of fan bearings, we introduce several of the most common:
1. single ball bearing brushless fan
Single ball bearings are an improvement over traditional oil-sealed bearings. Between its rotor and stator with ball lubrication, and with lubricating oil. It overcomes the problems of short life and unstable operation of oil seal bearings, and the cost increase is extremely limited. Single ball bearings absorb the advantages of oil-sealed bearings and double ball bearings. The service life of the bearing is increased to 40,000 hours. After adding the balls, the running noise is increased, but it is still less than that of the double ball bearing.
2. Laifu bearing brushless fan
As an improvement of traditional oil-sealed bearings, Laifu bearings are made of wear-resistant materials into high-oil-containing hollow bearings, which reduces the friction between the bearing and the shaft core. Laifu bearings also have a shaft core with reverse spiral grooves and oil retaining grooves., When the fan is running, the oil will form a reverse return, thereby avoiding oil loss, thus improving the bearing life. By adopting the above structure and parts, the bearing fan greatly improves the oil-containing and oil-retaining capacity and reduces noise.
3. double ball bearing brushless fan
Double ball bearings are relatively high-grade bearings. There are several tiny steel balls in the bearing around the axis. When the fan or the axis rotates, the steel balls rotate with it. Because they are all spheres, the friction force is small and there is no problem of oil leakage. The advantage of the double ball fan is that it has a long life, about 40000 to 55000 hours; it has good anti-aging performance and is suitable for fans with higher speeds. The disadvantage of double ball bearings is that they are expensive to manufacture and are the most noisy at the same speed level (because the friction point of the ball bearing is increased by 2 times.)
4. hydraulic bearing brushless fan
The hydraulic bearing is a technology pioneered by AVC. Similarly, it is also improved on the basis of oil-sealed bearings. Hydraulic bearings have a larger oil storage space than oil-sealed bearings and have a unique loopback oil supply circuit. The working noise of the hydraulic bearing fan is significantly reduced, and the service life is also very long, which can reach 40000 hours. But not all AVC radiators use hydraulic bearing fans,
5. nano bearing brushless fan
The traditional oil seal bearing fan is worn seriously during use, and the reliability is low when used for a long time. Nano bearings effectively overcome this problem: ceramic bearing technology uses nano-polymer materials and special additives fully integrated, the use of die and sintering process, containing ceramic powder, with strong, smooth, wear-resistant and other characteristics. Nano ceramic bearing (NCB) has strong high temperature resistance and is not easy to volatilize, which greatly extends the service life of the fan. The nature of nano bearing is similar to that of ceramic, and the more grinding, the smoother it is. According to the test, the average service life of the fan using nano ceramic bearing (NCB) is more than 150000 hours.
