(3) Reverse fan. Rotation of the rotor is used to vary the plenum volume for work. Common types are Roots blowers and reverse compressors.

3. The fan is divided into axial flow fan, centrifugal fan and diagonal flow (mixed flow) fan according to the flow direction after entering the impeller.

4. Fans are divided into press-in partial fans (hereinafter referred to as press-in fans) and extraction partial fans (hereinafter referred to as extraction fans) in which flameproof motors are placed outside or inside the flow channels, and flameproof motors are placed in explosion-proof sealed cavities.

5. The fan can also be divided into single-stage, double-stage or multi-stage pressurized fans in accordance with the way of pressurization. For example, 4-72 is a single-stage pressurized fan, and the high-end fan is a multi-stage pressurized fan.

6. Fans can be divided into axial flow fans, mixed flow fans, roof fans, air conditioning fans, etc. according to their usefulness.

7. Fan pressing force can be divided into low pressure fan, medium pressure fan, high pressure fan.

8. According to the outlet pressure (boost) is divided into: fan (≤ 15000 Pa), blower (1.5~350000 Pa), compressor (≥ 350000 Pa).

Fans are widely used in factories, mines, tunnels, cooling towers, vehicles, ships and buildings ventilation, dust and cooling; boilers and industrial furnaces ventilation and wind; air conditioning equipment and household appliances in the cooling and ventilation; grain drying and selection; wind tunnel wind source and hovercraft inflation and push.
