Everyone in the fan industry knows that fans are common machines in industry. When using axial fans, the impeller will wear after a period of time. The wear of axial fan blades is related to gas composition, particle size, concentration, shape, impact speed, impact angle, chemical composition, performance, temperature and humidity. Its uneven airflow will accelerate the wear of the blades. In order to prevent blade wear, the dust and corrosive gases entering the fan need to be reduced, and the fan grass system needs to be modified. Secondly, trying to make local wear tend to uniform wear, which requires improving the wear resistance of the impeller. So how do we prevent impeller wear? For different forms of wear, anti-wear measures can be divided into the following:
1. Treatment of blade surface
The blade surface can be carburized, plasma surfacing, spraying hard alloy, paste ceramic processing. The common advantage of these methods is to increase the hardness of the blade surface, thereby improving the wear resistance of the blade to a certain extent, but each method has its own shortcomings. Carburizing process is difficult. In actual carburizing, the part and thickness of carburizing layer should be determined by blade thickness, wear and carburizing process. The blade is deformed greatly during surfacing, and repeated welding will cause cracks on the blade surface, which is easy to cause accidents. It is difficult to determine the thickness of the coating during spraying. The effect of pasting ceramic sheet is better, but the price is high.
2. Surface spraying wear-resistant coating
This method is simple, low cost, but the coating wear fast, a use of about 3-5 months.
3. Improved blade structure
There are methods such as processing the blade working surface into a serrated shape, changing the hollow blade into a solid blade, and welding the blade with anti-wear blocks, all of which can reduce the wear of the bottom impeller to a certain extent.
4. Front anti-wear cascade
After the anti-wear cascade is installed at the easy-to-wear place, the particles can be prevented from flowing to the rear disc and the blade root, thus converting the concentrated wear of the particles into uniform wear, improving the wear resistance of the impeller and prolonging the service life of the fan.
5. Improved aerodynamic design
Reasonable selection of fan inlet shape, design should ensure that the relative speed of the impeller small inlet, try to reduce the number of revolutions of the bottom fan, select the appropriate impeller flow channel shape, so that the radius of curvature of the blade from the inlet to the outlet of the arc from small to large, so as to reduce the chance of collision between solid particles and blades.
