The working principle is: the engine water temperature sensor transmits the water temperature signal to the engine control unit in real time, but when the engine water temperature is higher than a certain limit value, the signal is transmitted to control the electronic fan to start. The above is the water temperature, the form of air conditioning refrigerant control and water temperature is the same, and the two do not interfere with each other, meet all the conditions, the electronic fan will start.
When the air conditioner is not started and the engine temperature is relatively low, if the electronic fan is also started after starting the engine, this situation is abnormal and it is recommended to go for maintenance and inspection. Since the above said the principle, let's speculate about what is likely to be the cause? First of all, the engine water temperature sensor may be damaged, it transmits a signal of high water temperature, in order to cool the engine, the electronic fan starts; in the case of open air conditioning, this situation may be because of the transmission of the refrigerant pressure signal problems. Generally, the cause of the failure can be found by using a special car diagnostic instrument.
There is also a very special reason, that is, the failure of the ABS wheel speed sensor will also cause the fan to rotate at high speed. The fault principle is: when the car is running at high speed, it is generally under heavy load and the engine temperature is high. To cool the engine, the fan spins at high speed. If the ABS wheel speed sensor is damaged for some reason, even when the vehicle speed is very low or even motionless, the signal transmitted to the car computer is that the car is driving at high speed, and the fan will start and rotate at high speed.
As for the situation mentioned above, the author does not agree. To put it bluntly, the ABS sensor is the wheel speed sensor, a device that transmits the wheel speed signal, how can it cause the electronic fan to start running? It is puzzling.
The electronic fan blows inward, because the car is generally driving forward, and the air is also transmitted forward and backward through the body. If the electronic fan blows outward, it is not contradictory. The key is that the engine is located behind the electronic fan. Ah, where can I blow without blowing backwards.
