Regarding a range of cooling fan manufacturers, such as 8CM and 9CM cooling fans commonly used in computers, it is possible to do dust-proof and waterproof disposal. The noise index of micro-fans is an important parameter that customers care about. While providing micro-fans, ordinary manufacturers will also provide specifications. One of them is the noise value in decibels (db). Then, how do micro-fan manufacturers control fan noise?
Micro fan noise, mainly control the following two items
First, the wind sound when the fan is running (this is related to the speed, the speed is high, the wind is louder), so if you control the speed of the micro fan, the wind sound can be effectively controlled. In response to wind noise, Yi Rongchuan Science and Technology invited a special organization to make a soundproof room with a background noise of 16DB. Because no sound could be heard, we called it a soundproof room. Then we tested the noise value of a miniature fan with no other noise at a distance of 100cm from the sound sensor.
Second, the mechanical noise, friction sound, electromagnetic sound, and vibration sound when the fan is moving except for the wind, these are all content to be controlled. Regarding mechanical noise, friction sound, and electromagnetic sound, we use human ear audiometry in a relatively silent soundproof room. Trembling sound, using hand sample comparison test.
